The word protein comes from the Greek term meaning “of prime importance”, which indicates its role in nutrition. Protein is the body’s primary building material, making up nearly one fifth of its structure. Since, as part of normal life, body tissue is constantly being lost and damaged (like skin and hair for example), we need a constant supply of protein in our diet to replace this loss. Protein is essential to the metabolic activities of every cell.
There are many popular misconceptions about protein. For example, many people believe that excess protein will not make them fat. In reality a gram of protein contains four calories (the same as carbohydrates or starches) and any excess calories from protein are converted to fat and stored.

Mercury can cause a bewildering variety of problems. In fact, one of the major criticisms of amalgam illness is that it is cited as the cause of so many things. But, like the parable of the blind men and the elephant, mercury can indeed cause many diseases.
Modern physicians are not trained to find the root cause of a sick person’s problems. They are trained to translate what they see into latin, look it up in their textbook, and apply a cookbook treatment.

You’re in the OFFICE, you’re in a MEETING, you’re in your CAR, you’re PICKING up the kids from school, you’re SHOPPING, you’re on the BUS, and NATURE CALLS You want to answer, you’re desperate!, but you have to wait until you get home, or find a toilet somewhere. A lot of people find it difficult to use other people’s toilets or public toilets. So the call of nature is usually held. When you eventually go the stools are dry, hard and difficult to pass. This can also be painful. One of the most common reasons your bowel goes on strike is because of lack of fibre, oil and water. “Does that ring a bell?” If you drive a car it should! The bowel needs these elements to drive you to the toilet – get it? In order to produce soft, smooth, painless stool oil, fibre and water all need to be in balance.

Poor liver function can exacerbate some allergic conditions, asthma, skin eruptions, hay fever etc.
Middle age people have more digestive problems because their enzyme activity is less and they are usually eating foods that are enzyme less. They eating more bread, cooked foods, in some cases more alcohol and more sweet foods. When these dead foods are removed from the diet thereby taking the overload away from the liver, then the problems gradually improve.
In auto-immune disease e.g. poly-arthritis and systemic lupus, if the diet is high in foods containing synthetic chemicals, colours, preservatives, in fact all artificial sweeteners and flavours, snacks and crisps, colas, soft drinks, and packaged foods. These foods (it is questionable if they can be called food).
